Management Accounting Support Service

The Academies Financial Handbook 2018 specifies that academies MUST prepare management accounts each month without exception and as part of your regularity audit, auditors will be checking that you have 12 sets of management accounts for the financial period.

To support academy trusts in ensuring they are compliant we are offering a range of support services to meet differing requirements and budgets.  Please find attached details of the 4 levels of support that we are able to provide.  Prices for each of level of support are available on application.

Inaugural Business and Professional Development Event

SBM Services Ltd in partnership with the highly renowned Nickii Messer (All the Geese) and the newly formed ‘Essex Association of School Business Management’ are pleased to launch their inaugural Business and Professional Development Event.  Aimed at school business staff, headteachers, trustees and governors this event provides a combination of education finance & governance updates, personal development training and networking opportunities delivered by school business management experts and provides an alternative to other local financing networking sessions.

This first event will also be the official launch of the newly formed regional networking group ‘Essex Association of School Business Management’.

The Business and Professional Development Event will be a termly occurrence with the agenda driven by delegates and their development requirements.  We will run the same session at two easy to access locations in Essex (Colchester and Margaretting) so delegates will have the opportunity to choose the date and location that will be most convenient for them.
