We are sad not to meet with you all face to face but please be reassured we are making sure that those registered to attend will still get all the latest updates. We will be planning our future events over the next few months and we will release details of all our professional development and training events at the start of the Autumn Term, they may just be in a different format to that we are used to.

I just wanted to keep you updated on how SBM Services are continuing to operate with the challenges we are all currently facing.
Prior to the government announcement yesterday we had already made the decision that for the safety of everyone school visits were no longer going to take place. We do recognise, however, that many of you are still working, doing the amazing job of keeping our schools open to keep our key workers at the front line. We want to do everything we can to support you to do this and therefore we are also going to continue to operate to provide you with the finance and business support you need.
For those clients that have completely outsourced some work to us, this will continue to be carried out and we will regularly be in touch as usual. For those of you who have more infrequent support we do have the facilities in place to remote into your systems and we are very creative when it comes to work arounds of how we can support you without us physically being in the same place. Our helpdesk will also be operating as normal. Please therefore do get in touch by emailing email@example.com or calling 01206 671103 if there is any work you require support with or any advice you need.

With all the uncertainly there is currently regarding the potential closure of schools and the coronavirus I thought it would be a good idea to set out our company approach to working with you should an imposed closure happen.
If schools are told to close but access is still allowed for business/office staff then we are more than happy to honour any visits we have booked and continue to work with you should our own staff availability permit. If this is not possible, all our consultants have the ability to access your systems remotely so that if the nature of the work allows, we can provide you with the support you need and complete any work off-site.
If none of the above is possible, and no other work around can be found then there will be the final option to cancel any visits and postpone any work and we will try our very best to reschedule in the future when schools have reopened. However, as I know you will appreciate this cannot be guaranteed at this stage as we do not know the extent of how the closure of schools would impact on our business.
Please be reassured though we will do everything we can to make sure we continue to provide you with the quality of service that you would expect from us.

We are looking for pupils with great ideas to improve their school and are brave enough to face our panel of dragons!
We are excited to launch our first School Community Competition for year 5 pupils to win up to £1,500 for a school project. Our dragons are looking for creative and innovative projects from pupils, that have the most potential to improve their school. Examples of projects may include making a bug hotel to learn about science and nature, technology for a lunchtime coding club or creating quiet and cosy reading spaces for those who want to relax at playtime.
Pupils will need to submit an application pack to the judges and finalists will then be selected to present their pitch at a dragons-den style panel of directors in July 2020.

With the new year here, and winter well on its way to setting in, the following months typically see higher occasions of staff absence due to sickness.
